December comes fast, and with it the yearly question: where do we hold the team’s end-of-year lunch or dinner? Since 2010 Águeda has hosted many celebrations for companies, offices and work teams. In this guide I explain how to plan yours in Cusco without hassle: which location to choose for your team size, how much to order, the cost per person and how to request a proposal.
Lunch or dinner: pick the time
We are open Monday to Saturday from 12:00 to 21:30, and Sunday from 12:00 to 17:00. A team dinner fits well between 19:00 and 21:30, after work. If your celebration falls on a Sunday, make it a lunch.
A tip I always give: Fridays and Saturdays in December tend to be the most requested. If your team has two possible dates, even better; if the date is already set, book three to four weeks in advance.
Which location for your team size
We have three locations in Cusco. Capacity is the first thing to check:

For more than 70 people, the celebration can be at Matará or Collasuyo using both floors. If your office is downtown, Matará is a short walk away; if you work around Magisterio or Wanchaq, Collasuyo is the most convenient. See all three on our locations page.
How much to order and the cost per person
For a team, the most practical and most enjoyable option is a grill to share: it arrives at the table, everyone picks the cut they like and the conversation flows. Our Mixed Grill serves six and includes tenderloin, strip steak, chicken breast, anticucho, pork loin chop, chorizos, sausages and morcilla. The Agueda Grill serves four.
With those two grills you can build the order for almost any team. Here is the food bill at our menu prices:

Amounts are for reference and do not include drinks. For large groups we send a tailored proposal with our events menu, which can include a set menu.
When dining in, main courses include our complimentary salad bar. And if some people prefer their own plate, individual cuts are a good option: the Tenderloin or the Beef Picanha, with the side of their choice.
A Cusco touch: alpaca
If colleagues are visiting from Lima or abroad, have them try alpaca. For me it is the best meat you can eat in Cusco: an Andean product, ours, tender on the grill and with a flavor of its own. We serve the Alpaca Loin (240 g) and the Alpaca Loin in Pepper Sauce, S/.47 each. Ordering a few for the middle of the table is an easy way to give the dinner a local identity.

A stress-free checklist
- Approximate headcount. It does not need to be exact at first; we adjust it a few days before.
- Two possible dates and the time. Lunch or dinner, and roughly when you will arrive.
- Budget per person. Tell us whether it includes drinks, and we build the proposal around it.
- Grills to share or a set menu. Both work; a set menu helps when the budget is fixed.
- Dietary needs. Let us know about vegetarians or allergies so we can include options.
- Speeches and toasts. If there will be awards, a toast or a raffle, tell us so we can time the service.
